Soccer taking on Northern

The women’s soccer club will be coming back to college life with vehemence this week, returning from a two-weekend game break. They have expressed plans to participate in all of the homecoming events as an organization; they are especially planning to win flag football for the third year in a row. One of their members, Mandy Scott, is also in the running for homecoming queen. They will resume normal play the weekend after Homecoming with a local game against Northern. The men’s soccer club played two games this weekend: against UW-Stout on Saturday and against UW-Eau Claire on Sunday. They lost both games but are continuing to work on their communication and setup, a challenge with new players joining the club nearly every week. They will be playing NMU here this Friday.
