Congratulations to the student that walked away from a sit-down with the gay kids. As a matter of fact, the entire concept of multi-cultuaralism is moving toward the sandy wastelands of time, where other failed progressive ideas can be found. In the course of history, no multi-cultural society has ever suceeded without the intervention of a stong man.

What is interesting to me, is that no one puts a multi-cultural center into the self segregated parts of our inner cities. For instance, if Michigan Tech University wants to be innovative, they could consider placing their multi-cultural efforts at the corner 6 mile and Livernois in Detroit, and try to explain in this enclave that the larger society is noble and just. If the educators at MTU can that done, the impact would be undeniable.
