Ginger Haus’ 3-0 victory over previously undefeated Moose Brigade heats up DHH Conference No. 1 playoff race

Although there are only 20 teams in the DHH leagues spread out over two conferences, the quality of the teams seems to be excellent overall. Ginger Haus and Moose Brigade are both great examples of the talent in DHH.

This was a very hard fought game on both sides of the ball. Both teams protected their goal like their seasons depended on it, which to a point it actually did. Vying for spots at the top of DHH Conference No. 1, Moose Brigade came into the game at 4-0, while Ginger Haus came into the game at 4-1.

While both teams’ defenses and goalies did a great job, Ginger Haus’ Cameron Anderson was able to put one in before the half ended. With the score 1-0 at halftime, Moose Brigade was looking for a spark to fire themselves up to try to get back into the game. But it wasn’t there night as Ginger Haus’ goalie, John Kolacz, recorded his fourth shutout in six games this season.

Ginger Haus was able to put in two more goals, scored by David Strobel and Chris Smart, to make the final score 3-0 in favor of Ginger Haus. With Ginger Haus now at 5-1 and Moose Brigade at 4-1, DHH Conference No. 1 just got a little more interesting.
