Tinn survives overtime against BAstille to remain undefeated

It took until overtime to decide this one, but at the end of the night one team stood atop the standings in McNair Conference No. 4. Going into the game Tinn was 6-0, but BAstille was sitting at 4-1 and looking to make a run to the top of the conference. Unfortunately that run would eventually have to go through Tinn.

Both teams played extremely tough on the slickest the rinks have been all season. You can start to see the competition between teams even out with how slick the ice has gotten; it really levels the playing field. No team ever had the upper hand in this contest. BAstille scored the first goal about half-way through the first half. Not to be outdone, Tinn was able to score a goal of their own before the half was over, to even out the halftime score at 1-1.

At the start of the second half you could see that both teams wanted to be the one standing at the top of the conference at the end of the night. Tinn was able to put in a second goal with five minutes gone in the second half, but mere minutes later BAstille was able to put another one in to tie the game up. That score would hold until the end of regulation.

With the conference at stake, overtime seems like the way that this hard fought battle should end. Only a minute into overtime, Tinn found the back of the goal and kept their undefeated season intact. With the final score at 3-2, both teams congratulated each other on a hard-fought game.

The final goal tally for Tinn was Glen Shaw, Jake Ceh and Justin Engwis all with one goal. Scoring both goals for Bastille was Kevin Hency.
