The Huskies new that if they slowed down Tiffin’s Mandy Jaeb, the leading scorer in the GLIAC, they would have a very good chance of winning on Thursday night. Not only did they do that, limiting Jaeb to seven points on 2-of-10 shooting, but they held every other Tiffin Dragon under seven points en route to a dominant 88-39 victory over Tiffin in front of 1,088 fans at the SDC Gym.

Defensively, they executed almost flawlessly, limiting the Warriors to just 12 first half points on 3 of 29 shooting (including 22 consecutive missed shots at one point). They did post 30 second half points against Michigan Tech, but the Huskies scored 35 points in each half, 24 coming from the post, en route to a convincing 70-42 victory, improving their record to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the GLIAC.
